# Commercial FAQ

> Answers to the questions businesses ask most about Zulma commercial cleaning: supplies, off-hours, insurance, switching tiers, cancelling, billing, and more.

## Supplies and equipment

    Zulma brings the core supplies (cleaners, trash bags, paper towels for crew use) and all the equipment. You provide washroom paper goods, soap dispensers, and any specialty product preferences you want us to use. See [supplies and access](/commercial/supplies-and-access) for the full breakdown.

## Access and scheduling

  <Accordion title="How does the crew get in?">
    Your choice of key, code, or smart-lock app. Every access event is logged. We can also coordinate with your security or alarm vendor for arming and disarming. Details in [supplies and access](/commercial/supplies-and-access).

  <Accordion title="Can you clean after hours or on weekends?">
    Yes. The off-hours window is after 8 PM on weekdays plus all weekend and holiday hours. Off-hours service carries a +14.99% surcharge, which is standard for most office accounts.

## Insurance and compliance

  <Accordion title="Are you insured?">
    Yes. Zulma carries \$5M commercial general liability, plus bonding and WSIB. The subcontracted Pros who service your site each carry their own \$2M commercial general liability.

  <Accordion title="Can I get a Certificate of Insurance (COI)?">
    Yes. Email [business@zulma.ca](mailto:business@zulma.ca) to request a Certificate of Insurance and we will send it over.

  <Accordion title="Are you ready for a health inspection?">
    For restaurants, per-visit photo proof and an auditable sanitization log are part of the service. You can hand the log to an inspector on demand. More in [quality and compliance](/commercial/quality-and-compliance).

## Tiers and minimums

  <Accordion title="Is there a minimum tier for restaurants?">
    Restaurants start at Professional. That tier covers the kitchen floor degrease and sanitize, hood-area wipe, walk-in fridge and freezer floors, the sanitization log, and per-visit photo proof.

  <Accordion title="What tier do you recommend for medical and dental?">
    Premium is recommended for medical and dental. It covers exam-room turnover sanitization, a colour-coded mop and cloth system, an auditable sanitization log, PIDAC infection-prevention practices, and OSHA bloodborne-pathogen protocols.

  <Accordion title="Can I switch tiers later?">
    Yes. Change your frequency or tier anytime with 14 days' notice. We reprice and prorate, with no re-contract. See [contracts](/commercial/contracts).

## Contracts and cancelling

  <Accordion title="What are the contract terms?">
    Month-to-month, 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month, with longer terms earning a discount (0/5/10/15%). Full details in [contracts](/commercial/contracts).

  <Accordion title="How much notice do I need to cancel?">
    It depends on your term. Here is the notice and early-termination summary:

    | Term           | Notice          | Early-termination                                             |
    | -------------- | --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
    | Month-to-month | 30 days written | None                                                          |
    | 3-month        | 30 days         | 1 month base fee OR 25% of remaining value, whichever is less |
    | 6-month        | 30 days         | 1.5 months base OR 25% of remaining, whichever is less        |
    | 12-month       | 60 days         | 2 months base OR 25% of remaining, whichever is less          |

    If you end the contract for cause, there is no early-termination fee.

  <Accordion title="What happens to my deposit when the contract ends?">
    Your 1-month deposit is returned as Zulma credit at the end of the term, as long as nothing is outstanding.

## Multiple locations

  <Accordion title="Can you clean more than one of our locations?">
    Ask us about multiple locations and a unified account. Email [business@zulma.ca](mailto:business@zulma.ca) and we will walk you through the options.

## Billing and invoicing

  <Accordion title="How does billing work?">
    Your first month is charged when service starts. A 1-month deposit is held on your card (not charged) and returned as Zulma credit at the clean end of the contract. After the first month, billing recurs monthly. More in [billing](/commercial/billing).

  <Accordion title="Can we be invoiced instead of paying by card?">
    Established accounts can apply for invoicing terms (Net 15, Net 30, or Net 45) instead of card auto-pay. On invoiced terms, payment reminders follow a set schedule:

    | Day 1           | Friendly reminder                                           |
    | Day 7           | Second notice                                               |
    | Day 14          | Late fee added (the greater of \$50 or 1.5% of the balance) |
    | Day 30 past due | Contract auto-suspends                                      |
    | After day 45    | May be terminated for cause                                 |

  <Accordion title="Do you accept cash?">
    No. Cash is not accepted. Payment is by card auto-pay, or by invoice for established accounts on approved terms.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is there sales tax?">
    No sales tax during launch. Zulma is not charging sales tax right now, so your price is all-in.
