# Getting a commercial quote

> How a Zulma commercial quote works. Instant calculator, then a free written quote from a real person, no sales pressure.

We use a **hybrid pricing model** for commercial: a real-time calculator that puts you in the right ballpark instantly, plus a free written quote that confirms the exact number after a quick review by a real person.

## The two-step quote process

    * Industry (office, retail, salon/spa, medical/dental, restaurant)
    * Approximate square footage
    * Frequency
    * Service tier (Essential, Professional, Premium)
    * Contract length (month-to-month, 3, 6, or 12 months)
    * Off-hours preference

    Watch your live monthly estimate update as you tweak. No login, no commitment. The calculator is usually within about 5–10% of the final written quote.

    * Business name and address
    * Contact info
    * Special requirements (kitchens, security check-ins, anything unusual)
    * Anything else we should know

    A real person reviews your request, may ask a follow-up question or two, and sends a written quote with exact pricing and a service-agreement preview.

## What we typically ask

For most commercial accounts, the calculator plus the form is enough. For more nuanced quotes, a few extra details help us scope accurately.

    What you pay now, what you like, and what you'd want to improve. Useful for benchmarking the quote against what you have today.

    Health-inspection requirements for restaurants, clinical standards for medical and dental, or any industry-specific protocol. Tell us and we'll match the quote to those standards. Restaurants start at the Professional tier; for medical and dental we recommend Premium.

    Many commercial accounts clean outside business hours. If you want a specific window. Overnight, weekends-only, or during business hours. Note it in the booking form. Cleans after 8 pm on weekdays, or any time on weekends and holidays, carry a **+14.99% off-hours surcharge**.

## What's in the written quote

Your written quote spells out:

* **Monthly recurring**. Base rate, contract discount applied, and the off-hours surcharge if it applies
* **Per-visit detail**. Exactly what's covered each visit, based on your tier
* **First month and deposit**. Your first month is charged when service starts, plus a one-month deposit held on your card (not charged) and returned as **Zulma credit** at the end of the contract if nothing's outstanding
* **Service-agreement preview**. The exact agreement you'll accept
* **Start date**. When we can begin
* **Out-of-scope items**. Anything we explicitly don't cover, so there are no surprises

## How tier and contract length shape the price

The calculator does this for you, but here's the logic behind the number.

| **Service tier**    | Essential sits at the low end of your industry's range, Professional in the middle, Premium at the top. |
| **Contract length** | Month-to-month 0% · 3-month **5%** off · 6-month **10%** off · 12-month **15%** off.                    |
| **Off-hours**       | **+14.99%** for cleans after 8 pm weekdays, or any time on weekends and holidays.                       |

## Pricing transparency

Our calculator number is **typically within about 5–10%** of the final written quote. Reasons it might shift:

* **Square footage is off**. We confirm the real area when we scope the job
* **Hidden complexity**. Multi-floor walks, basement spaces, security check-ins
* **Special requirements**. Anything beyond a standard clean

We'll always explain why the final differs from the calculator, and you can adjust scope or walk away. **No pressure to sign on the spot.**

## Apex. A different process

[Apex](/commercial/apex) is our private commercial division for environments that need discretion. Executive offices and boardrooms, high-net-worth residences, luxury post-construction. It's **by introduction only**, with no public self-serve booking.
