# What's included by industry

> Exactly what each commercial visit covers, broken down by industry, plus how the Essential, Professional, and Premium ladder changes the scope.

Every commercial clean is scoped to your industry. An office, a restaurant, and a dental clinic each need a different checklist, so we build the scope around the space you actually run. This page lists what a visit covers in each industry, then shows how the service tier changes how deep that visit goes.

## How scope and tier work together

Two things shape your clean:

* **Your industry** sets the checklist below. The tasks a restaurant kitchen needs are different from a retail sales floor.
* **Your tier** sets how deep each visit goes. Same building, same square footage: the tier is what changes.

| Tier             | What it adds                                                                                                                                            |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Essential** | The basics. Trash, vacuum, sweep, surface wipe-down, restrooms. Sits at the floor of your industry's price range. |
| **Professional** | Essential plus mopping, glass and interior windows, appliance exteriors, and detailed restrooms. The most common pick. Sits in the middle of the range. |
| **Premium** | Professional plus deep touch-point sanitization and detailed dusting. Sits at the top of the range. |

<Info>
  Restaurants start at **Professional** (kitchens need the deeper scope). For medical and dental we recommend **Premium**. Full tier details, including which industries can use which tiers, are in [commercial service tiers](/commercial/service-tiers).

## What each visit covers

Pick your industry below. These are the tasks built into the per-visit scope. Glass and interior windows come in at the Professional tier and up; deep touch-point sanitization is a Premium feature.

  <Tab title="Offices">
    **Every visit:**

    * Trash and recycling collected and taken out
    * Vacuum carpet, sweep and mop hard floors
    * Surface wipe-down (desks, counters, common areas)
    * Dusting of reachable surfaces
    * Restroom sanitization (toilets, sinks, mirrors, restocking)

    **At Professional and up:**

    * Glass and interior windows

    **At Premium:**

    **Best for:** any workspace, from a small studio to a multi-floor office. All three tiers fit.
  </Tab>

    * Sanitization log plus per-visit photo proof

    <Note>
      The sanitization log and photo proof are part of the service, not a separate add-on. Hand the log to a health inspector on demand. See [quality and compliance](/commercial/quality-and-compliance).
    </Note>

    **Best for:** restaurants, cafés, and any food-service space that needs inspection-ready paperwork.

  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Medical / dental">

    * Reception and waiting-area deep clean
    * Medical-grade restroom
    * Sharps-area floor and surfaces

    * Per-visit auditable sanitization log

    Crews follow PIDAC infection-prevention guidance and OSHA bloodborne-pathogen protocols, with a colour-coded system that keeps tools separated by zone (red for restroom, blue for exam, green for reception).

    **Best for:** medical and dental clinics, physiotherapy, and any space that needs an auditable paper trail. See [quality and compliance](/commercial/quality-and-compliance).
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Salons / spas">
    **Every visit:**

    * Reception reset
    * Treatment and styling-room turnover
    * Hair-station deep clean
    * Hair and product-debris vacuum
    * Restroom sanitization
    * Towel and linen handling

## A note on scope and supplies

Zulma brings the core supplies and equipment your crew needs to do the work. You provide washroom paper goods, soap dispensers, and any specialty product you prefer we use. The full breakdown, plus how access and off-hours scheduling work, is in [supplies and access](/commercial/supplies-and-access).

## Need a different scope?

If your space doesn't fit one industry checklist, or you want Premium scope in the lobby and Essential everywhere else, we can quote a custom blend. Email <a href="mailto:business@zulma.ca">[business@zulma.ca](mailto:business@zulma.ca)</a> with your scope and we'll structure the contract around it.

<Info>
  Whatever your industry and tier, the price in the calculator is what you pay. Zulma isn't charging sales tax during launch, so your quote is all-in.
</Info>

## If a visit misses the mark

Tell us. Commercial cleans are covered by your contract terms, not the residential cancellation rules. We make it right with a re-clean or a Zulma credit.
