Every dollar you earn on Zulma flows to your bank account once a week, every Tuesday, via Stripe Connect direct deposit. Before you accept a single job, you see the full payout breakdown — base pay, bonuses, and any applicable tip — with no hidden deductions on the other side.Documentation Index

Pay structure
Base pay per job varies by service type and duration. The exact amount is displayed in the job offer before you accept. Zulma never takes more than 25% per job. That means at least 75 cents of every dollar collected for the job comes to you. Tips are 100% yours. Zulma takes no portion of any tip, ever. When a customer adds a tip through the platform, the full amount is yours. Pay transparency is required by law. Ontario’s Digital Platform Workers’ Rights Act requires that you see the complete payout before accepting any job offer. Zulma complies fully — the breakdown you see before accepting is the breakdown you receive.Sample weekly take-home

Direct deposit schedule
Payments are processed via Stripe Connect and deposited every Tuesday into your linked bank account. You can track your earnings and view your payout history in real time from the app.Tax treatment
As an independent contractor, you are responsible for:- Income tax — set aside a portion of each deposit; Zulma does not withhold on your behalf.
- CPP contributions — self-employed individuals contribute both the employee and employer share.
- HST registration and remittance — if your gross annual revenue from all sources exceeds $30,000, you are required to register for an HST number and remit HST to the CRA.
A T4A summarizes what Zulma paid you during the calendar year. It does not include tax withheld, because none is withheld. You use this amount when filing your self-employment income on your personal tax return.
