How it works
Apply online
Go to app.zulma.ca/signup?role=pro and fill out the application — it takes about five minutes. Tell Zulma about your experience, the specific Niagara communities you want to serve, and your availability.
Background check + WHMIS certification
Zulma will initiate a vulnerable-sector criminal record check on your behalf. You also complete WHMIS 2015 chemical-safety certification — both are provided free of charge. No criminal record check fees come out of your pocket.
Build your profile and complete onboarding
Once cleared, you build your public crew profile — the name, photo, and bio that customers see when they’re matched with you. You then watch a 30-minute orientation video and have a brief call with your regional lead to go through expectations and the app.
What to expect on your first booking
Your first booking is shadowed by a senior Zulma crew member. You do not take solo jobs until you pass the skills check. This is standard for all new crew — it protects you and the customer, and most people find it useful to see how an experienced cleaner handles the job flow.
