Base pay is just the floor. Zulma layers several bonus types on top of every job, and all of them flow through to you in full. You see every applicable bonus in the job offer before you accept — nothing is added or removed after the fact.
All bonus amounts are shown transparently in the job offer before you accept — no surprise deductions.

Bonus types

Weekend bonus. Jobs completed on Saturday or Sunday include extra pay on top of base. The specific amount is shown per job. Surge pricing bonus (surge matches). During high-demand periods — busy weekends, post-holiday deep-clean rushes, or short-notice bookings — jobs attract a surge match on top of base. If you’re online during peak demand, you earn more for the same work. 5-star streak bonus. Maintain top ratings across consecutive bookings and you unlock a streak bonus. This rewards consistent quality, not just single high-performing jobs. First-job-of-day bonus. The first job you complete on any given working day earns an additional bonus. A simple incentive to start the day. Distance bonus. Jobs farther from your base location include additional pay to offset travel time and fuel. The amount scales with distance and is itemized in the job offer. First-Year Milestone Bonus. Complete 25 jobs and submit business-expense receipts within your first year to receive a one-time bonus of up to $900. This bonus recognizes the real upfront investment you’ve made in your independent business — tools, insurance, supplies, and certifications. Submit receipts through the app when you hit the 25-job mark.

How ratings affect your bonuses and standing

Your rating determines whether you stay on the platform and how often you’re matched for desirable jobs.
Crew members must maintain a 4.7★ minimum across their last 20 completed jobs. Falling below this threshold results in a pause for retraining or removal from the platform.
Maintaining a high rating also unlocks the 5-star streak bonus and increases the likelihood that customers favorite you — which directly feeds recurring bookings.

Favorites and recurring bookings

Customers can favorite any crew member they’ve worked with. When a customer’s recurring booking runs — weekly, biweekly, or monthly — the platform prioritizes matching them with their favorited crew members first. Building a roster of regulars who favorite you creates a stable, predictable income base on top of whatever new jobs you accept. The more five-star experiences you deliver, the more that recurring income compounds over time.
Recurring bookings lock the agreed per-visit price for the duration of the schedule, giving both you and the customer cost predictability. This is one of the fastest ways to smooth out weekly income variation.
