Proof on every visit
Per-visit photo proof and a sanitization log are part of the service, not a paid add-on. They come with every commercial account, on every tier.Photo proof
The crew documents the work each visit. The photos attach to your account so you can see what was done, not just trust that it was.
Sanitization log
An auditable record of what was sanitized and when. For restaurants and clinics, it’s the document you hand an inspector on demand.
Photos and logs are included in scope on every tier. There is no separate “premium reporting” product to buy. If you want a higher-detail clean, that’s what the service tiers decide, not whether you get documentation.
Health-inspection-ready paperwork
For restaurants, the sanitization log is built to survive an inspection. When the health inspector walks in, you hand them the log. No scrambling, no “we’ll email it over.” The record is there, dated, and tied to each visit. Crews working food premises and salons are trained on Ontario food-premises regulations and WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), so the chemicals on site are handled and labelled the way the rules require.Protocols by industry
Different spaces are held to different standards. Crews are trained to the protocol the space needs.Restaurants and food premises
Restaurants and food premises
Trained on Ontario food-premises regulations and WHMIS. Every visit produces a sanitization log plus per-visit photo proof, so the paperwork is health-inspection-ready and you can hand it to the inspector on demand.
Medical and dental
Medical and dental
Crews follow PIDAC infection-prevention practices (Provincial Infectious Diseases Advisory Committee) and OSHA bloodborne-pathogen protocols, with a colour-coded mop and cloth system so a cloth used in one zone never crosses into another. Every visit produces an auditable sanitization log.
Salons and spas
Salons and spas
Trained on WHMIS for the products and chemicals on site, with proper handling of towels, linen, and chemical-bottle disposal.
The colour-coded mop system
To stop cross-contamination, the crew uses a colour-coded mop and cloth system. A cloth from a restroom never touches a clean reception desk.| Colour | Zone |
|---|---|
| Red | Restrooms |
| Blue | Exam rooms |
| Green | Reception |
Insurance and bonding
Cleaning means people and their tools inside your space. You’re covered on both sides.Zulma's coverage
$5M commercial general liability, plus bonding and WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) coverage.
Your assigned Pros
Subcontracted Pros carry their own $2M commercial general liability insurance on top of Zulma’s coverage.
Requesting a Certificate of Insurance
Many landlords and property managers ask for a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before a vendor can work on site. We can issue one.Email business@zulma.ca
Send your request to business@zulma.ca. Include the certificate holder’s name and address and any wording or limits your landlord requires.
There’s no self-serve download portal for the COI. Just email business@zulma.ca and a real person handles it.
If a visit misses the mark
Quality is on us. If a visit isn’t right, tell us and we’ll make it right with a re-clean or a Zulma credit, not a cash refund. The photo proof and log make it easy to see what happened and fix the specific thing that fell short.Common questions

What's the difference between OSHA, PIDAC and WHMIS?
What's the difference between OSHA, PIDAC and WHMIS?
Short version: WHMIS governs safe handling of chemicals on site, PIDAC is the Ontario infection-prevention guidance crews follow in clinical spaces, and OSHA bloodborne-pathogen protocols cover safe work around medical waste and sharps areas. Crews are trained to the ones your industry needs.
