How payment works
Zulma supports two payment models, clearly labelled at checkout. Card pre-authorization (default when card payments are enabled) — when you confirm a booking, your card is pre-authorized for the quoted amount. No charge is captured until a crew member accepts the job. If no crew member accepts in time, the hold is fully released and nothing is charged to your account. Pay on completion (current beta default) — no card on file is required. You settle directly with the crew member after the visit, by cash, e-transfer, or invoice.During the beta, pay on completion is the default payment model. Card pre-authorization is available when you add a card to your account. Both options are clearly labelled at checkout.
Supported cards
Zulma accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express — all major Canadian and international cards.Security and PCI-DSS compliance
Card data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment processor. Zulma never sees your full card number. Only a tokenized reference is stored on your account. You can add, remove, or change your default card at any time from Account → Payments without re-entering your details everywhere.Managing saved cards
Go to Account → Payments to:- Add a new card
- Remove a saved card
- Set a different card as your default
Tips
Tips are entirely optional. When you add a tip through Zulma, 100% of the amount goes directly to the crew member who performed the work. Zulma takes no portion of any tip.Tips are settled separately from the base service price and are not refundable once paid.
